“Initiating Change in a Changing World:  Change Management and Project Success”


Presented by Charles Jones, MHA, CHE; this informative seminar will provide thought provoking insights and exercises into the challenges and techniques of initiating change in organizations.  From idea creation, generating support, acquiring resources through to project  completion, participants will gain valuable actions they can take to influence and make change happen in their organizations.  If you are contemplating initiating change where you work, this seminar is  for you.

Charlie Jones is a healthcare leader with experience in medical group management, network development, quality and systems improvement and information at academic medical centers.  He serves currently as the leader of the Information Services Project Management Office (IS PMO) and Enterprise Imaging Teams at the University of Vermont Medical Center.  In his role in the IS PMO, he is responsible for project intake through to completion of more than 100 Information Technology projects annually, a staff of 13 project managers, and scope of work that ranges from upgrades of existing systems to new deployments of enterprise systems across the University of Vermont Health Network’s four hospitals (www.uvmhealth.org).  Charlie is a member of Project Management Institute, the American College of Health Care Executives and a past member of Medical Group Management Association.  He earned his BA from the University of New Hampshire and Master in Hospital and Healthcare Administration at the University of Minnesota.
